De Dépendance will function as a complementary venue, accommodating related long-and short-term exhibitions, installations, and spontaneous events.
De Dépendance is located in the Schiekade building in the Rotterdam Central District, east of Central Station, and it is an unsolicited project by ZUS.

Never Built Rotterdam
Exhibition in the Historical Museum Rotterdam

There is more to Rotterdam than meets the eye. The dynamic nature of the city and the destruction of its old core in WWII led to the Rotterdam we see today. There is also a “Rotterdam that could have been”, to be found in all the plans that were never realized. The exhibition Never Built Rotterdam visualizes what could have been with the use of constantly evolving panoramas, drawings and a specially designed interactive model.

[Starting 8 December]
Historical Museum Rotterdam – Schielandshuis
